Civil Society News Network (CSNN) and the Northern Citizen Community Board (NCCB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), establishing a framework for long-term international cooperation in the areas of civil society engagement, global dialogue, and responsible media communication.
The Northern Citizen Community Board (NCCB) holds Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN ECOSOC), giving the partnership a clear international and institutional dimension.
The Memorandum outlines cooperation in areas including media patronage, editorial collaboration, joint information and educational initiatives, and mutual recommendations in international accreditation and engagement processes. The agreement confirms the non-financial nature of the partnership and fully respects the editorial independence of CSNN.
On behalf of the Northern Citizen Community Board, the Memorandum was signed by H.E. Shahzada Ibrahim, Chairman of NCCB.
On behalf of Civil Society News Network, the document was signed by Dawid Szabłowski, Founder & Global Editor-in-Chief of CSNN.
The signing of this Memorandum represents another step in CSNN’s development as an international civic media platform committed to strengthening civil society, promoting intercultural dialogue, and supporting transparent global communication.
