Poland, one of the larger countries of the European Union and an economy increasingly discussed in the context of G20-level international economic relevance, seems to be a stable and safe country for business.

We reacted with no small surprise to information about an international organised criminal group, whose trail leads to Qatar and other countries of the Persian Gulf. Exactly, but only there? We have many indications that not only.

And the scale of the phenomenon is enormous. This one path alone, according to the information obtained, amounts to hundreds of millions of laundered money and many times more in criminally taken-over enterprises, mortgages and other assets.

Our journalists were downright shocked that in the Centre of Europe, under the noses of security services — Police, Fiscal Police, Intelligence and Counterintelligence Services, including Polish ones — such a procedure is taking place…

The impossible becomes ..possible.. but in Poland.. Or maybe it is much worse in other EU countries?

But to the point.

Our information is supported by reliable journalistic analysis and numerous documents.

Our informants also provided us with a number of valuable pieces of information in this matter.

According to one of our informants, “it is cheaper to buy a judge in Poland than to hire a lawyer”.

According to one of our informants, “it is cheaper to buy a judge in Poland than to hire a lawyer”.

And one of our acquaintances, directors of a well-known European bank, said that “it is a greater crime to have a bank than to rob a bank”.

The criminal group mentioned in the introduction — one of many — has so-called “hunters of companies and real estate” in Poland, who search for significant and interesting assets.

They wait for financial problems of their owners, having their moles in banks, tax offices, courts and mortgages.

But they always try at the same time to drive them into trouble and impossible-to-fulfil obligations, offering very “profitable contracts”, “fantastic opportunities” and unbelievably convenient loans.

For this purpose, they have their own or arranged companies in Poland — for example, a company known to us in Kraków — which officially represent trust and prestige.

Regardless of this, they have attractive and highly qualified women who can very professionally lead the owner into a trap. We even have scans of passports of such women.

A specific example. One of many:

An honest entrepreneur R from Poland ran a shopping gallery, the construction of which he financed thanks to a bank loan taken out in an international bank from the TOP 20.

He did not even suspect that inside the bank there was an organised criminal group operating, which was only waiting for such victims.

To his surprise, after repaying the principal of the loan, the Bank terminated the loan agreement. The gullible entrepreneur began negotiations with the bank, which turned into a legal dispute.

An external law firm, a bailiff and judges only contribute to the entrepreneur’s downfall…

On the surface, everything looks legal

..but these are only the transformations of the Chameleon

..like an Italian octopus, it surrounds the victim.

The unaware R. is looking for solutions. He desperately needs to repay the loan and maintain the gallery.

He received an offer of an excellent loan from the “recruiter” J — we have a scan of the passport — who impersonates a well-known Austrian family. The lender is a company from Switzerland, “having wide contacts in the world”.

To obtain this exceptionally profitable loan, no fees were required, but only documentation of the amount of own funds at the level of approximately 10%, which R of course no longer had. But he still had other assets, shares and real estate.

“Fortunately”, his “wealthy” acquaintance D also needed a loan. They therefore concluded an agreement that they would obtain this loan together, each for their own purposes, and D was only supposed to transfer to R’s account the required sum, to be returned later. For the needs of the formalities required by Polish tax law related to the transfer from D’s account to R’s account, they signed a loan agreement. But only as a supplement to the agreement on jointly obtaining the loan.

At the moment of documenting the funds, everything evaporated. Of course, it is not known why.

Immediately after that, D, violating all rules of written and oral agreements and arrangements, entered all mortgages, shares and accounts of R.

It turned out that earlier D had already fallen victim to the above-mentioned international criminal organisation — through the company from Kraków — and now, on their leash, he is cannibalising his entire business environment.

As a consequence of these actions, R loses everything, and the bank may recover perhaps half of the value of the loan “thanks” to the creative activity of the lawyer and the bailiff, because after all, a planted person is supposed to take over the mortgage for a fraction of its value.

We are curious why, until now, the appropriate security and control services of Poland have not become interested in such a mass procedure.

Banks and honest entrepreneurs are harmed.

The Chameleon from Qatar is still operating.. Its “kinsmen” as well.

We warn our readers and ask for signals in this matter as to how it looks in our country.

The journalistic investigation continues and is taking on an ever wider scale..
