Chairman Shahzada Ibrahim of the Northern Citizen Community Board, holding special status with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, attended the United Nations Conference on Science, Technology and Innovation held on May 6, 2026, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City along with his delegation.
The delegation included renowned U.S. businessman Amir Khan, along with noted philanthropist Kenta, who were also present on the occasion.

During the proceedings, Mr. Amir Khan graciously took the floor at the United Nations and presented his innovative economic fuel-energy project designed particularly for developing nations and extremely cold regions where access to gas, heating fuel, and firewood remains limited. The project aims to provide sustainable energy solutions for heating and kitchen purposes while also contributing toward pollution reduction and environmental protection.
Mr. Khan emphasized that the initiative aligns closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 Agenda and called upon international donors, development agencies, and private investors to support and invest in environmentally sustainable energy projects that can improve living conditions for underserved populations worldwide.
He stated that the project represents one of the most innovative and sustainable clean-energy concepts for economically challenged and remote communities, with the potential to significantly reduce dependence on traditional fuel sources and lower environmental pollution.
