Today, July 17, 2026, a massive public protest is being held in Liberia under the theme “Lead or Leave.”
The protest is organized by STAND, a civil society group in Liberia campaigning against corruption, injustice and the humiliation of citizens.
According to information received directly from CSNN Liberia, demonstrators are expressing serious concerns over widespread corruption within the government, the unlawful dismissal of public employees, the lack of accountability and cases of police brutality.
