Our FUTURE Movement begins at UN Geneva, reaches its milestone in Belgrade, and continues until global policy reflects the needs of today’s world. It connects governments, educators, innovators, youth, civil society, and international networks. It positions Belgrade and the Western Balkans as a centre for peace literacy, digital progress, and reconciliation‑focused education. This is where new ideas, new cooperations, and new models of development take shape.
Europe stands at a turning point. The Western Balkans are no longer a peripheral space; they are becoming one of the most strategically important regions for the prospect of the continent. Research from the European Commission, OSCE, UNESCO, and the United Nations all point to the same conclusion: Europe’s stability, innovation, and long‑term wellbeing depend on meaningful investment in the Western Balkans.
The FUTURE Movement provides the framework for this investment. It brings together the strengths of South‑East Europe, the European Union, the Danube Region, and the Western Balkans, creating a shared space where innovation, peace, and education move forward together. This vision connects the Schwartzwald with the Black Sea and builds a bridge from the Danube to the Baltic countries, opening pathways for collaboration, mobility, and regional evolution.
And the first operational step in this long-term transition is the Belgrade Day After – FUTURE. This moment activates regional cooperation, aligns digital and educational priorities, and opens the door for deeper EU engagement. It is the point where our movement becomes visible, actionable, and strategically relevant for European institutions.
The FUTURE Movement promotes all possibilities these regions must truly work together: socially, economically, digitally, culturally, and ecologically. It supports new digital skills, modern education, ethical AI, peace literacy, and reconciliation‑focused learning. It empowers youth, strengthens institutions, and creates opportunities for communities that have long been excluded from global advancement.
This mission is reinforced by powerful partners and global networks. The UN International Patriotic Pact Organization Forum for Peace, the Forum for the UN Right to Development, the spirit and energy of International Cities of Peace, the International Network of Museums for Peace, and our Danube for Peace initiative form a unique alliance. Their shared purpose is clear: to create a future where people, countries, and nature thrive in harmony.

The FUTURE Movement is also a message to the Western Balkans, a message of possibility, dignity, and shared progress. For decades, the region has been described through the lens of conflict, crisis, and transition. FUTURE changes that narrative. It shows that the Western Balkans are not waiting for change, they are shaping it.
This is why the European Union must invest in the Western Balkans now. Not as a gesture of support, but as a strategic partnership. Not as a political obligation, but as a shared opportunity.
The region holds extraordinary human talent, cultural richness, digital potential, and a unique geopolitical position. With the right investment in education, digital skills, peace literacy, and human‑centred development, the Western Balkans can become one of Europe’s most dynamic engines of innovation and stability.
And the first step in this transformation is the Belgrade Day After – FUTURE. This moment activates regional cooperation, aligns priorities, and opens the door for deeper EU engagement. Building the FUTURE Together
We are building this Movement to promote and implement all possibilities South‑East Europe, the European Union, the Danube Region, and the Western Balkans must truly connect the Schwartzwald with the Black Sea, and to build a bridge from the Danube to the Baltic countries as soon as possible. This is a corridor of cooperation, culture, innovation, and peace, a new European narrative shaped by the people of this region. Together, they show that peace is not an abstract idea, it is a living practice, built by communities, cities, educators, and storytellers.
This movement must create a future for all of us: Europe where countries cooperate, where people feel safe and respected, and where nature is protected as part of our shared heritage. A future where the Western Balkans stand not at the edge of Europe, but at its heart.

Naš FUTURE Movement počinje pri Ujedinjenim nacijama u Ženevi, dostiže svoju prekretnicu u Beogradu i nastavlja se sve dok globalne politike ne budu odražavale potrebe današnjeg sveta. On povezuje vlade, prosvetne radnike, inovatore, mlade, civilno društvo i međunarodne mreže. Pozicionira Beograd i Zapadni Balkan kao središte mirovne pismenosti, digitalnog napretka i obrazovanja usmerenog na pomirenje. Ovo je mesto na kojem nastaju nove ideje, nove saradnje i novi modeli razvoja.
Evropa se nalazi na prekretnici. Zapadni Balkan više nije periferni prostor; on postaje jedan od strateški najvažnijih regiona za budućnost kontinenta. Istraživanja Evropske komisije, OEBS-a, UNESCO-a i Ujedinjenih nacija upućuju na isti zaključak: stabilnost, inovativnost i dugoročno blagostanje Evrope zavise od smislenog ulaganja u Zapadni Balkan.
FUTURE Movement pruža okvir za ovo ulaganje. On objedinjuje snage Jugoistočne Evrope, Evropske unije, Dunavskog regiona i Zapadnog Balkana, stvarajući zajednički prostor u kojem inovacije, mir i obrazovanje zajedno napreduju. Ova vizija povezuje Schwarzwald sa Crnim morem i gradi most od Dunava do baltičkih zemalja, otvarajući puteve za saradnju, mobilnost i regionalni razvoj.

Ovaj trenutak aktivira regionalnu saradnju, usklađuje digitalne i obrazovne prioritete i otvara vrata dubljem angažovanju Evropske unije. To je tačka u kojoj naš pokret postaje vidljiv, primenljiv i strateški relevantan za evropske institucije.
FUTURE Movement promoviše sve mogućnosti da ovi regioni istinski rade zajedno: društveno, ekonomski, digitalno, kulturno i ekološki. Podržava nove digitalne veštine, savremeno obrazovanje, etičku veštačku inteligenciju, mirovnu pismenost i učenje usmereno na pomirenje. Osnažuje mlade, jača institucije i stvara mogućnosti za zajednice koje su dugo bile isključene iz globalnog napretka.
Ovu misiju dodatno osnažuju snažni partneri i globalne mreže. UN International Patriotic Pact Organization Forum for Peace, Forum for the UN Right to Development, duh i energija mreže International Cities of Peace, International Network of Museums for Peace i naša inicijativa Danube for Peace čine jedinstven savez. Njihova zajednička svrha je jasna: stvoriti budućnost u kojoj ljudi, zemlje i priroda napreduju u harmoniji.

FUTURE Movement je takođe poruka Zapadnom Balkanu — poruka mogućnosti, dostojanstva i zajedničkog napretka. Decenijama je region opisivan kroz prizmu sukoba, krize i tranzicije. FUTURE menja taj narativ. On pokazuje da Zapadni Balkan ne čeka promene — on ih oblikuje.
Zbog toga Evropska unija mora sada da ulaže u Zapadni Balkan. Ne kao gest podrške, već kao strateško partnerstvo. Ne kao političku obavezu, već kao zajedničku priliku.
Region poseduje izuzetan ljudski talenat, kulturno bogatstvo, digitalni potencijal i jedinstven geopolitički položaj. Uz odgovarajuća ulaganja u obrazovanje, digitalne veštine, mirovnu pismenost i razvoj usmeren na čoveka, Zapadni Balkan može postati jedan od najdinamičnijih evropskih pokretača inovacija i stabilnosti.
A prvi korak u ovoj transformaciji jeste Belgrade Day After – FUTURE. Ovaj trenutak aktivira regionalnu saradnju, usklađuje prioritete i otvara vrata dubljem angažovanju Evropske unije. Novinari mogu pomoći ljudima širom sveta da, zahvaljujući CSNN-u, Zapadni Balkan ne vide kao region problema, već kao region rešenja; ne kao region sukoba, već kao region pomirenja; i ne kao region čekanja, već kao region izgradnje. Njihove reči mogu otvoriti vrata, priče mogu promeniti percepciju, a glasovi mogu oblikovati BUDUĆNOST.

Zajedno gradimo BUDUĆNOST
Gradimo ovaj Pokret kako bismo promovisali i sproveli sve mogućnosti da Jugoistočna Evropa, Evropska unija, Dunavski region i Zapadni Balkan istinski povežu Schwarzwald sa Crnim morem i što pre izgrade most od Dunava do baltičkih zemalja. To je koridor saradnje, kulture, inovacija i mira — novi evropski narativ koji oblikuju ljudi ovog regiona. Zajedno pokazuju da mir nije apstraktna ideja; on je živa praksa koju grade zajednice, gradovi, prosvetni radnici i pripovedači.
Ovaj pokret mora stvoriti budućnost za sve nas: Evropu u kojoj zemlje sarađuju, u kojoj se ljudi osećaju bezbedno i poštovano i u kojoj se priroda štiti kao deo našeg zajedničkog nasleđa. Budućnost u kojoj Zapadni Balkan ne stoji na ivici Evrope, već u njenom srcu.
A sada su nam, više nego ikada, potrebni glasovi — naročito novinarski glasovi — koji ovu poruku mogu preneti dalje.
