CSNN provides reliable, impartial, and fact-based information on global social developments, human rights, public governance, international diplomacy, security, and initiatives promoting freedom and social justice.
CSNN is an officially registered media entity in the register of newspapers and journals maintained by the District Court in Kielce, Poland, under the title Civil Society News Network (CSNN). This legal status confirms its professional mandate and recognises CSNN as a formal press organisation.
The agency operates at the intersection of journalism, civic engagement, and international affairs. CSNN integrates the standards of leading global news organisations with the mission-driven approach of civil society institutions. It collaborates with journalists, regional experts, humanitarian actors, civic movements, and governmental and international institutions to ensure responsible, verified, and context-driven reporting.

Dawid Szabłowski – Global Editor-in-Chief
Dawid Szabłowski is the Founder and Global Editor-in-Chief of the Civil Society News Network (CSNN) – an internationally registered media entity and an independent information platform dedicated to civil society, human rights, international diplomacy, and global initiatives promoting peace and social justice.
As the global leader of CSNN, he directs the organisation’s strategic development, oversees the work of all regional bureaus, and coordinates cooperation with international institutions, governmental bodies, and non-governmental organisations across five continents. Under his leadership, CSNN has strengthened its position as a global civic media network committed to dialogue, transparency, journalistic ethics, and intergovernmental cooperation.
Dawid Szabłowski also serves as a Goodwill Ambassador of the Northern Citizen Community Board (NCCB) – an organisation holding Special Consultative Status with the United Nations ECOSOC. In this role, he supports international social, educational, and humanitarian initiatives while fostering civic engagement and institutional dialogue within the UN framework.
As an Ambassador-at-Large and Intergovernmental Communications Advisor at the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), as well as Head of the IHRC Press Department, he brings extensive experience in journalism, intergovernmental communication, and humanitarian work to CSNN. His professional background bridges media, civil society, and diplomacy, enabling the creation of strong global partnerships for peace, human rights protection, and civic development.
His vision for CSNN is rooted in accuracy, impartiality, and international cooperation, in alignment with the standards of the United Nations, the European Union, and leading global media institutions.
Under his direction, CSNN has evolved into a global platform that connects media, civil society, and the diplomatic community, integrating initiatives from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and the Americas into a unified network of global communication.
Muhammad Mohsin Durrani – Deputy Editor-in-Chief (Asia & UAE Region)
Muhammad Mohsin Durrani is a renowned media leader and strategist with over 25 years of experience in the media industry, holding key positions across digital media, television, print, and outdoor advertising.
His expertise includes media strategy, content development, marketing, and sales, as well as media management in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), particularly in Dubai, which has become a global hub for international cooperation and media innovation.
As Regional Head Asia & Advisor on UN Affairs, and IHRC Press Editor-in-Chief for the Asia Region at the International Human Rights Commission (IHRC), Durrani played a pivotal role in advancing media operations across Asia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
In Dubai, he was a respected media expert and consultant, recognised for developing innovative media strategies for major organisations and corporations. His primary focus at CSNN was developing content for the UAE market, analysing international policies, and strengthening Dubai’s position as a global centre for press freedom and human rights advocacy.
Muhammad Mohsin Durrani passed away on 7 September 2025.
His dedication, professionalism, and vision for ethical journalism and intercultural dialogue continue to inspire colleagues and partners across continents. He will be remembered as a distinguished leader whose legacy remains deeply rooted in the values of truth, responsibility, and international cooperation.
NICKSON ANTHONY – EDITOR-IN-CHIEF (UNITED STATES)
Nickson Anthony is a dedicated media professional and advocate of civic journalism, currently leading the Civil Society News Network’s editorial work in the United States. As Editor-in-Chief for the U.S. Section, he oversees the activities of the CSNN New York Bureau, coordinating media coverage, international correspondence, and public communication initiatives across North America.
With a strong focus on intercultural dialogue, ethical journalism, and civic responsibility, Mr Anthony works to strengthen CSNN’s global mission of connecting societies through truthful reporting and constructive engagement.
Under his leadership, the New York Bureau develops analytical and human-interest content reflecting the voices of diverse communities, while fostering cooperation between media, academia, and civil society organisations. His editorial work emphasises transparency, cultural understanding, and responsible journalism as key pillars of democratic communication in the modern world.
H.E. Ibrahim Shahzada – Editor-in-Chief (Asia) | CSNN Honorary Ambassador
H.E. Ibrahim Shahzada serves as the Editor-in-Chief for the Asian Region at the Civil Society News Network (CSNN), overseeing the development, coordination, and editorial direction of CSNN’s work across South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
As a CSNN Honorary Ambassador, he also represents the mission and values of the organisation internationally, strengthening cooperation between media, institutions, and civil society actors around the world.
Within CSNN, he plays a central role in expanding the network’s global presence, initiating international partnerships, and supporting the development of credible civic communication across one of the most diverse and dynamic regions in the world.
H.E. Ibrahim Shahzada serves as Ambassador for Civil Society to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) in Pakistan, working within an organisation that holds Special Consultative Status with the UN ECOSOC.
As Chairman of the Northern Citizen Community Board (NCCB), he leads numerous social, educational, and humanitarian initiatives aimed at strengthening local communities and promoting the principles of peace, solidarity, and institutional cooperation.
In CSNN, his responsibilities include developing regional editorial standards, supervising teams of correspondents and analysts, producing reports and content on human rights, multilateral diplomacy, and civil society, as well as coordinating major informational projects in close partnership with other CSNN bureaus worldwide.
Mr Shahzada’s experience also spans entrepreneurship and strategic advisory work. As an advisor to investment firms in South Asia and the Gulf region, he supports development initiatives rooted in social responsibility, transparency, and sustainable growth.
As the head of CSNN’s Asian editorial operations, H.E. Ibrahim Shahzada reinforces CSNN’s role as an international platform connecting societies, promoting intercultural dialogue, and advancing responsible, ethical, and independent journalism. His work forms a vital pillar of CSNN’s global mission — building bridges between nations, empowering civic engagement, and strengthening international cooperation.
